Waware Tree Nursery

Started in April 2021 by RYGM, the youth group of KEWPU on the grounds of Wakiaga Polytechnic. As for any other plantation, fences against free-ranging animals and cisterns need to be built first to water the seedlings during the dry season. Funding was provided for installations and running costs for three months. Through the sale of seedlings and the voluntary work of the young people, the nursery is self-supporting.
